The “auto” operating system in the hearing aids examines the wearing environment several times per second and adapts the settings to the situation seamlessly and automatically. The higher the technology class, the more listening situations are recognised. Manual programme changes are no longer necessary.
On statutory health insurance?
Your health insurer pays a fixed allowance per ear. For some basic devices that is enough, and you only pay the statutory co-payment of €10 per device. More technology means a share of your own on top. We bill your insurer directly, so there is nothing for you to arrange.
